If you are thinking in renting your property out, you should seek independent legal advice to ensure that you are aware of all costs involved in being a landlord in Spain and drafting a rental contract aimed to protect your interest in case of litigation and eviction.
As well as the usual costs of maintaining your property and making sure it is habitable for the tenant, you will also be expected to pay tax on any rental income that you receive from the property.
